ACCESS PARTNERS - MINISTRY UPDATES

Dear friends,

Welcome to the February 2007 Access Partners Ministry Updates!  Thank you so much for your continued prayer and support.

[Note: as usual, names and locations are changed in our updates for security reasons]

A Recent Project

"Brakistan", Revisited

You may remember the English training center in "Brakistan" that we highlighted in our November 2006 newsletter.  In 2006, we helped their team plan their business.  We asked you to pray for their success in raising the necessary funding.  Praise the Lord - He has provided $70K for them for startup funds through a special fund of a missions agency.

New Challenges

As the team works to get their English training center off the ground, they discovered a specific technology need:  a way to track their customers' information, payment history, and training center usage levels.  As a value-added service to customers, they also want a portion of their website where customers can log in and view their invoices and usage levels.

Approach

Access Partners is setting up an offline database for their regular updating tasks (internet connections aren't as reliable there), along with a way to simply synchronize data up to a customer website.  The customer website will be connected to the trilingual marketing website that we set up for their organization in 2006.

We have enjoyed a long partnership with this team, working on both their business and technology needs.  Please join with us in praying that the Lord would grant them success in the business.  More importantly, please pray that the business would truly facilitate the One True Gospel to be spread mightily in "Brakistan".

An Access Partners Update

Great Feedback

We were recently having check-in calls with sub-regional leaders throughout Central Asia for a major missions agency.  One leader reflected on the past year with encouragement about how many fruitful projects were completed in 2006.  Praise God for allowing us to be helpful to so many teams last year.  Please pray that we would always remain humble and seek to be used well by our Lord.  We are also so thankful to God for you and your partnership with us that makes our work possible.

New Staff

We added yet another part-time team member:  "Tyrone O'Neill" is heading out our volunteer recruitment and coordination efforts.  He's preparing (Lord willing) to go out to the mission field in the near future, and we hope that this will give him a great foretaste.  In the mean time, we'll be benefiting from his supernatural abilities to multiply himself through volunteer involvement!  Please pray for him, his volunteer coordination efforts, and his longer-term plans to go overseas.

Soli Deo Gloria,

The Access Partners team
