Welcome to our December 2006 Access Partners Ministry Updates! Thank you for your prayers and for your support of our ministry. We pray that this update will encourage you as you see what the Lord is doing to bring Himself glory among the nations.

A Recent Project
Challenge
A missionary-led microenterprise organization has operations in several countries and contacted Access Partners to help organize their loan tracking processes. Currently, each branch location has its own method for tracking loans: from paper ledger to volunteer-designed spreadsheets to commercial packages that would only work in one country. The organization need a cost effective and easy way to standardize their loan tracking and reporting.
Approach
Access Partners interviewed each of the locations to identify requirements for a loan tracking system. Then, we created a solution based on Excel to track the loans. This system simplifies data entry through using custom forms. It also is multi-lingual, allowing use by staff in different countries.
Outcome
We are currently deploying the software for one team in Central Asia and look to bring it to other locations during 2007. The team appreciates the software for its:
- User-friendliness which significantly reduces software training
- Ease of language translations which allows use in the native tongues
- Automated processes which reduce user error and free up staff resources
Please pray for this project, that:
- They would be faithful in using microenterprise training and loans to engage locals.
- Their work would provide opportunities for the Gospel to go forth.
An Access Partners Update
"Duriland" Trip
Thank you for your prayers for the "Duriland" trip (see last month's update). The Lord blessed us with a successful trip, and we will give you an update in the months to come.
Fundraising
We continue our year-end fundraising efforts to support 2006 and 2007 operational costs. One generous donor has pledged $15,000 and an additional $15,000 to match other donations. Please prayerfully consider donating and have your dollars go twice as far.
We had our first fundraising event which generated additional interest in this ministry. We praise God for Sebastian and Nikki Traeger for their generosity in hosting. If you are interested in hosting something similar, please contact us (accesspartners@creativemission.org):
Prayer Requests
Please pray...
- For our supported missionaries. Pray that they would have ample opportunities to share the Gospel during this Christmas season, proclaiming the birth of the promised Messiah.
- For our fundraising efforts. Praise God for what he has already provided and pray that we would trust in the Lord to meet our needs
- That we would close out 2006 projects well.
