Access Partners: Introduction

The  "Access Partners" project (AP) helps missionaries bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth through business.  AP works together with missions organizations to start up and optimize businesses, enabling missionaries to reach otherwise inaccessible locations and communities.

The countries that are the least reached with the Gospel are also the hardest for missionaries to enter.  Governments forbid entry by "missionaries" and increasingly restrict other traditional means of access (for example, student, teacher, humanitarian worker). As a result, increasing numbers of missionaries face expulsion.

The answer to these challenges, many believe, is business.  Even restrictive governments value Western investment and technical expertise.  Unfortunately, many missionaries are not prepared for such a scenario: few have business training and experience.

Enter the "Access Partners" project. AP provides business and technology consulting to missionaries, combining professional experience with a deep understanding of the mission field. AP also links missionaries to industry experts and best practice resources, helping to simplify the business startup process and establish sustainable operations. AP fulfills its mission while remaining sensitive to cultural norms and working within government and infrastructure constraints.
